Reliant gel system

The Reliant gel system consists of precast agarose minigels for DNA electrophoresis and analysis. The gels provide rapid and reproducible resolution of DNA ranging in size from 8 bp to >10 kb. The gels are available with different numbers of wells (8, 20, and 24) in various formats. For the added convenience and ease of visualizing DNA bands during and after the run, ethidium bromide is included in some of the gel offerings.

The gel format fits most common minichambers. Reliant gels can also be run side-by-side in twos, threes, or fours in large chambers, depending upon the number of samples which need to be run. Simply apply the tray to the chamber, add buffer, load your samples and electrophorese.

Quality and Performance Tests
Agarose: DNase activity and DNA binding are not detected.

Gel performance: Sharp DNA bands and low background fluorescence are visible with ethidium bromide stain.

Ethidium bromide: Available with 0.5 µg/mL ethidium bromide.
