The PS1 series features adjustable, smooth, stepless acceleration that reduces inrush current on start-up and eliminates excessive wear on drive train components. These heavy-duty designed starters use SCRs that are sized to withstand starting currents of 500% for 60 sec. minimum.
Designed to replace electro-mechanical reduced voltage starters, these starters offer additional benefits that include compact size for easy retrofit in existing starter enclosures or as stand-alone units; straight-thru wiring; and virtually maintenance free operation.
