The Apex Instruments PS2 Rata Sampler (RS-PS2-SYS) allows the simultaneous sampling and monitoring of the three discrete sample points.
The Apex Instruments PS2 Rata Sampler (RS-PS2-SYS) allows the simultaneous sampling and monitoring of the three discrete sample points. This is done using the Apex Instruments uniquely designed 6 hole, combination manifold and filter unit, which was designed exclusively for the RATA Sampler. This allows the tester to install the probe in the stack and return to his trailer and extract the samples without an extra person to move the probe to the appropriate traverse points.
The RATA Console (RS-CM20) features:
• Watlow Digital Temperature Controllers for the
probe and oven
• Minihelics to monitor pressure accross the three
sample ports
• Vacuum gauge to monitor system pressure
• Third temperature controller available for heated jumper
The Apex Instruments PS2 Rata Sampler (RSO-) is easily fitted with different probe extensions to meet the specifications of the test site. Select traverse points that ensure acquisition of representative samples over the stack or duct cross-section. For particulate laden sources a sintered pre-filter is recommended to prevent plugging of the orifice.
