Envirometrics can supply a pilot-scale baghouse, scrubber, air stripper, or incinerator for determining design parameters, process applicability, or the performance of new control techniques.

The pilot-scale baghouse (shown in use under a tent at a pilot-scale installation) is a MicroPul Binvent (C style) baghouse with 16 four foot long bags having a nominal air flow rate of 400 acfm. The baghouse is insulated and sits above a hopper with a slide gate discharge. The gas entry is specially designed for uniform flow into the entire width of the baghouse. The approximate dimensions are 4'x4'x10'. The bags, fan, lime feeder, thermocouple and air compressor are included.

The pilot-scale incinerator is 8 foot long and 18 inches internal diameter with a direct injection liquid burner. It has a metal casing and footings. It is intended to be operated horizontally. Access ports for gas sampling are located along the length of the incinerator and in the metal stack, which rises vertically from the back of the unit.

There are two pilot-scale scrubbers, one 10 inches in diameter which can hold 3 feet of packing (shown in use at a sewage treatment plant) and one 2 feet in diameter which can hold 4 feet of packing. The gas entry is specially designed for uniform upflow across the cross-section. Both units come with fan, packing support, packing, scrubbing liquor nozzle, mist eliminator, scrubbing liquor pump, ORP and pH sensors and controllers, 2 metering pumps, and necessary auxiliary piping, valves, pressure taps, etc.

The air stripper is 2 feet in diameter and can hold 4 feet of packing. The gas entry is specially designed for uniform upflow across the cross-section. It comes with fan, packing support, packing, contaminated liquid nozzle, and mist eliminator.

Use of any of the pilot-scale units for 2 months is discounted at 20 percent. Use for 3 to 5 months is discounted by 30 percent. Use for 6 months or longer is discounted by 55 percent. Additional time and costs for equipment installation, cleanup or repair will be charged at prevailing rates.
