Non-Chemical Water Treatment System

BakerHydro Filtration, Inc.is a non-chemical water treatment system which helps eliminate bacteriological fouling, contamination and hardwater scale build-up. This is achieved by an electrostatic design with an automatic self-adjusting current feature. Environmental friendly and non-polluting, this system is for all types of recirculating water processes. It is designed to reduce maintenance down time while increasing system efficiency, equipment life and system flow rates.

The system controls bacterial growth with the electrolytic release of copper and/or copper-silver ions (ionization). Copper concentrations can be controlled per specific application reduce biofilm producing bacteria, sulfate reducing bacteria and potentially pathogenic bacteria. Scale and corrosion control is achieved as a result of the electrostatic field created when water passes between the charged anode and cathode assembly coupled with an ion exchanged process created by the filtering media. The use of copper and silver ions is a procedure for the elimination or reduction of algae and bacteria within water streams. This system enhances this technology with the addition of a filtration system that escalates the removal of calcium via a filtration media with ion exchange properties.
