MVC Soft Starters Brochure

Motortronics, Inc.any%> has a new brochure available for the MVC Series Solid State Medium Voltage Soft Starter. The starter offers a solution to mechanical and electrical problems often caused by starting medium voltage AC motors across the line.

The MVC Series Soft Starter eliminates high starting torque that can cause damage to the motor and the load. The adjustable motor starter will also provide the exact amount of voltage needed to start the load while keeping the inrush current down. In addition, a "soft stopping" feature and selectable pump control starting curves make this an ideal alternative to auto-transformer starters for pumping applications.

Available in ratings from 1000-6900 Volts through 600 amps, the MVC Series is supplied in a NEMA 12 enclosure with a vacuum bypass contactor as standard. Optional switch gear is available, as are other types of enclosures and accessories.
