Designing A New or Retrofitting An Existing RTO?
LANTEC's MLM (Multi-Layer Media) is the most efficient and cost effective heat-recovery media for regenerative thermal oxidation (RTO) systems ever to be introduced on to the market. MLM is the first substantial improvement over 1" saddles and monolith in decades.

A Wealth of Improvements
The new MLM outperforms all other ceramic media in heat capacity, thermal efficiency and pressure drop. MLM's thermal efficiency can reduce bed heights by 50% or more in both new units and retrofits. MLM's outstandingly low pressure drop can reduce canister substantially. In existing installations retrofitting with MLM can increase capacity by more than 100%. In both new and existing systems fuel costs can be slashed substantially. Because of less back pressure improved emissions can also be realized.

It Will Cost You Less to Buy
Because MLM is made up of simple, loose plates, which harbor no internal stress points, it can be made out of inexpensive ordinary chemical porcelain, unlike the Monolith media which has to be made out of expensive high-silica ceramic to reduce thermal cracking. The amazing MLM not only performs better it costs much less to buy!

It Will Cost You Less to Use
Performance gains from the use of MLM will reduce capital and operating costs by as much as 60%. On a 20,000 acfm system this could mean a savings of $200,000 for a new system and $20,000 per year on its operation! Increasing capacity with MLM means that more exhaust can be processed without having to spend more. Even fuel usage will measurably decrease. Improved emissions means less will be spent trying to meet ever increasing demands by regulatory agencies. In new systems reduced packing requirements means more money can be applied to the bottom line because lower costing smaller blower motors, smaller canisters and less packing are used.
