The CHROMACHROM * S is a fully automatic gas chromatograph designed for the determination of common sulfur gases H2S, SO2, COS, CS2, mercaptans and others with parts per billion sensitivity. The monitor uses a dual flame photometric detector (DFPD) which selectively responds to a wide variety of sulfur compounds.
It is a compact 19-in. rack mount system well suited for installation in a mobile laboratory for field surveying or as an on-line process control monitor. The unit is fully automatic from sampling to reporting and uses a PC for data handling and instrument control. Typical applications include surveillance of sulfur components in air, quality control of sulfur impurities in CO2 for the food and beverage industry, monitoring fugitive emission of sulfur gases around petrochemical plants and determination of sulfur contaminants in stack gases.
