The CHROMATRAP automated gas chromatograph is designed to deliver unattended measurement of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC's) in the C2-C6 carbon range. It determines VOC's as low as 50 parts per trillion employing a preconcentrator. The sample is separated into individual components on the column and measured with a flame ionization detector. It is a 19-in. rack mount system ideally suited for installation in a mobile laboratory for spot testing in the field or as an on-line process control monitor.
The system is fully automatic from sampling to reporting, employing a PC for data handling and instrument control. Typical applications include monitoring VOC's in ambient air, bulk gases, gas distribution systems, and for fugitive emissions from industrial plants.
