The system is capable of detecting beta, gamma and positron radiation directly from samples up to 20 cm x 24 cm. The contamination can be precisely located using the image generated by the detector. The unit features a seven-decade linear dynamic range designed for accurate quantification of widely varying levels of radioactivity.
