Electrochemical Sensor

The TX-261FMD Detector is a highly sensitive and selective electrochemical sensor that detects and measures hydrogen sulfide concentrations from 15 to 300 PPB, thus making it suitable for monitoring refinery control rooms and other systems sensitive to H2S.

The product features a 3-electrode "concentrator" cell that responds only to H2S and will not respond to CO, SO2 or NO2. The sensor is extremely linear over the entire measurement range, requires no external applied voltage, and demonstrates good zero stability, according to the company.

The transmitter also has a renewable self-checking sensor and a companion transmitter, both of which are linked to an optional control panel. A local readout is optional, and the system is also capable of being linked directly to an alarm, control, or facility-wide surveillance systems.
