Electrochemical Sensor
Designed to measure H2S concentrations up to 500 ppm, the PureAire TX 250 XP Detector is used for monitoring methane in H2S scrubbing processes and pipelines. It does not respond to hydrogen, carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide or nitrogen oxide and will not be damaged by exposure to glycol. The only sample conditioning required is pressure reduction.
The product consists of a galvanic sensor cell which does not require oxygen for operation, and a companion transmitter linked to an optional control panel. The transmitter may be equipped with or without a local readout and may also be directly linked to alarm or process control systems.
