Mech-Chem Associates, Inc. has extensive experience in the engineering, design, construction, inspection and testing of chemical bulk storage systems. Our systems are designed to provide the best spill prevention and safety for employees and the environment. All systems and components are designed and constructed using the proper materials of construction and are designed to meet the necessary codes and regulations.

Mech-Chem's specialty is the storage and handling of corrosive, flammable and hazardous chemicals, including fresh, mixed, and waste acids, alkalines, solvents and resins.

Bulk Storage Tanks Mech-Chem designs atmospheric and pressure storage tanks. Tank and process ventilation systems, inventory control, leak detection monitoring and warning systems are all a part of Mech-Chem's design capabilities.

Piping Systems To ensure the safe transfer of chemicals, Mech-Chem provides complete, integrated piping systems. Double-wall pipes include leak detection in the interstitial space of the pipes. All piping installed by Mech-Chem is fabricated, welded and installed according to ASME codes.

Secondary Containment Mech-Chem can design, engineer and construct secondary containment for tanks and piping systems. Mech-Chem also provides secondary containment systems for tank trucks involved in the unloading of raw materials and the loading of waste acids and chemical solutions.

Safety & Inventory Control Mech-Chem provides automated safety and inventory control systems which feature integrated, automated PLC/PC controls and warning systems. All components meet the codes required by the corrosive or explosive chemical environments.

Inspection and Compliance Services Mech-Chem provides full-service nondestructive testing and inspection programs for compliance with various codes and regulations.
