Local environmental consulting experts "Capital Environmental Enterprises, Inc." adds LEED air testing to their services.
Indianapolis, IN - Capital Environmental Enterprises, Inc., an Indianapolis-based company with 22 years of experience in the environmental consulting industry, is pleased to announce the addition of LEED air testing to its list of expert environmental services. The company already offers an array of indoor air quality testing services to detect the presence of mold, asbestos, dust mites, allergens, and carbon monoxide. Now that it offers LEED air quality testing for commercial spaces, Capital Environmental Enterprises will be even better equipped to help local business owners have healthy, safe spaces.
LEED stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design. The United States Building Council instated LEED certification requirements to ensure that new commercial spaces adhere to specific air quality standards. Capital Environmental Enterprises is authorized to test indoor air quality in new commercial spaces to ensure that LEED standards are met. In order to receive LEED certification, a building must be tested for carbon monoxide (CO), formaldehyde (CH2O), volatile organic chemicals (VOCs), 4-phenylcyclohexene (4-PCH), and dust particulate matter (CM-10).
Capital Environmental Enterprises holds itself to a strict standard of accuracy in regard to air testing, because the test results affect not only a business’s LEED certification status, but also the health and well-being of the business’s employees and customers. By conducting comprehensive tests of indoor air quality for Indianapolis-area businesses, Capital Environmental Enterprises can ensure LEED-compliance and the safety of everyone who will be using the space.
“LEED air quality testing is an essential process for any new business that's concerned about environmental health, and it’s our job to conduct testing properly and effectively on behalf of building owners in our area,” says Capital Environmental Enterprises owner Davies Batterton. “By adding this new service, we hope that our company can better meet Indianapolis’s air quality test needs.”
