Optical benches are available for gas sampling in the mid-infrared region from 2 to 15 µm. They utilize a pulsed source and a dual wavelength detector and have no moving parts.
Optical benches are available for gas sampling in the mid-infrared region from 2 to 15 µm. They utilize a pulsed source and a dual wavelength detector and have no moving parts. They are available with a variety of minimum volume gas cells, having path lengths of 2 cm to 1 meter. The output from the detectors can be digitized and fed to a computer or to a panel display.
The Optical Benches are ideal for portable and fixed installation gas analyzers, such as a CO2 sensor for TOC analyzers with a minimum detectable level in the 1 ppm range.
