Source: Thermox
Providing the dual functionality of analyzer averaging and centralized setup and diagnostics, the Series 2000 Host allows the user to operate and calibrate multiple sensors without leaving the control room
Thermoxhe dual functionality of analyzer averaging and centralized setup and diagnostics, the Series 2000 Host allows the user to operate and calibrate multiple sensors without leaving the control room. It can also support smart sensor products including oxygen analyzers consisting of WDG IV/IQ, the WDG HPII/IQ, THE WDG Institu/IQ, and the CEM O2/IQ; and the EI 20/IQ carbon monoxide smart analyzer. The sensors can provide individual milliamp outputs without going through the system, and a standard control unit/sensor combination can be connected in conjunction with or instead of smart sensors. This product can serve as host for up to 32 sensors, average up to four banks of analyzers and provide four isolated current outputs, perform setup and auto-calibration of multiple sensors, and has the ability to determine the highest/lowest reading from a bank of analyzers. Using an RS485 interface, the system offers electrical interfaces via field serial communications and analog outputs.
