Above-ground Tank Management/Underground Piping Services

A new turnkey tank and piping management service for large-diameter aboveground storage tanks and underground piping is now available throughout most states, plus Canada, Britain, and Italy. The service includes leak testing and monitoring for tanks and piping; verification of the effectiveness of existing cathodic protection systems with tank-to-soil potential profiles; installation and retrofit of undertank cathodic protection systems and reference cells within two feet of a tank bottom; API Standard 653 inspections for ASTs; and API Standard 570 inspections for piping; hydro-testing; cleaning and system life cycle analysis.

The company claims the capability to safely and reliably bore in close proximity to tank bottoms and other structures, which enables the placing of large piping networks that can be accessed for a variety of environmental services, including remediation.
