It can be used both as an analyzer in determining what the component gases are in an air or gas sample, and a s a monitor for repeated concentration measurements on specified gases over variable periods of time.
This analyzer is a Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectrometer. Its detection principle is based on photoacoustic absorption using a photoacoustic measurement chamber.
