Croll Reynolds Offers Pilot CONDENSING WESP™ Electrostatic Precipitator

September 18, 2001

Croll Reynolds Clean Air Technologies, Westfield, NJ is offering a pilot CONDENSING WESP™ electrostatic precipitator. This versatile gas cleaning system removes sub-micron particulate and mist with extremely high efficiency.

The wet electrostatic precipitator (WESP) system includes: a preconditioning cooling/scrubbing section to remove large particulate. A conditioning section to scrub out acid gases and saturate the gas. A collector section which collects the sub-micron particulate and mist followed by an outlet section with insulator purge system, bus bar and duct, and a high voltage system. The pilot unit can handle up to 5,000 cfm and is made out of 316L stainless steel.

The pilot unit permits industrial facilities faced with stringent air pollution control regulations requiring removal of smoke, oil or acid mist, dioxin/furan, heavy metals, or sub-micron particulate an opportunity to test technology recognized as the most advanced control system on the market. With efficiencies up to 99.99%, near zero opacity can be guaranteed from the CONDENSING WESP™ wet ESP. Most importantly, this technology is non-clogging, with self-cleaning features that require minimum maintenance and has only a 1" pressure drop to minimize energy consumption.

Croll Reynolds Clean Air Technologies is a leading provider of integrated wet air pollution control equipment and systems. With thousands of installations in most of the process industries, and multiple technologies that can be offered for many applications, Croll-Reynolds has the expertise and experience to solve the toughest emissions problems.
