A two-step gas processing system, consisting of the first process in the activated carbon fiber-adsorption chamber
A two-step gas processing system, consisting of the first process in the activated carbon fiber-adsorption chamber and the second process in the gas concentration unit, makes it possible to reduce solvent concentration in cleaned air at the outlet to a near-zero level. The system is particularly effective in recovery of methylene chloride, acetone, and the like, for which adsorption processing with activated carbon fiber alone is inadequate to keep their concentration at the outlet sufficiently low. The additional installation of a concentration unit alone is enough to improve existing recovery systems by lowering solvent concentration at the outlet.
